I've already got the times sorted for our trip in October2020 so we are at the airports internationally 3 hours before flying and when we fly from state to state in the US we will be there 1 1/2 hours before. DO NOT WANT TO MISS A FLIGHT.

Technically when you step into any airport it’s international soil for some reason so when you get off the plane at the destination you arrive on international soil. Only when you step out of the airport into the taxi station or simply outside then it’s the country’s soil. It’s weird hence why the customs people and immigration. Also check the menus as many airlines have two different meal sets if you fly in or out of japan. First is a pretty standard international menu often some type of beef or chicken, salad, a side, and a American dessert. The Japanese menu on the other hand is a lot better depending on which airline you use but it’s so different it’s presented so much better and it’s more in line with traditional Japanese cooking methods. I can’t really describe it so watch Mike Chen on YouTube and his trips to japan honestly he describes food so much better. Also check out theme park worldwide with their Asia trip to which they did every Asian Disney park in a month. They left heathrow to Shanghai pudong international airport to Hong Kong international for a week doing Hong Kong Disneyland first with ocean park, then back to Shanghai pudong for happy valley then Shanghai Disneyland, then finally onto japan with Fuji-q highlands and both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea. Now they stayed at a Disney resort for Hong Kong but the rest of the time they stayed in close hotels which is a metro stop away or a shuttle away to save a little money but it worked out ok and it was actually better as their stays were comped at least because of their weeklong stays.

So far, impressed with Japan and how they are neat and clean! Hotel thought of everything including keeping dirty street shoes off the carpet……if only in America….where hotel rooms are …well, better not say. My granddaughter just came back from Japan and brought with her some of the neatest little treasures. She was impressed with the country and now I can see why….again, a great vlog Tim. You are a pro.
